Whitley face another trip to Ryhope in the Northern League First Division Cup. Having beaten Sunderland RCA on penalties in this week's Second Round, Nick Gray's side have been drawn away again, this time to Ryhope CW in the Quarter Finals of the new competition. Like Whitley, Ryhope also needed penalties to reach this stage, overcoming Billingham Town 3-0 after their game had finished 3-3 after 90 minutes.
The draw has also been made for the semi finals, with the winners of Whitley's tie at home to Newcastle Benfield, Seaham Red Star or Newton Aycliffe.
The dates for these games have yet to be confirmed.
