We are delighted to announce that "Derek's Walk to Whitley" which was held last month in memory of long serving Club Secretary Derek Breakwell, raised the fantastic total of £2013.
We would like to thank everyone who took part in the walk from St Mary's Island to Hillheads Park via Tynemouth and all those who gave their support by sponsoring the walkers.
The money raised will be shared equally between Cancer Research UK and our 'Light Up the Bay' new floodlights appeal which continues to attract support from far and wide.
