Whitley have some strong opposition lined up as they prepare for the 2022/23 season. Their first pre-season fixture sees them make a trip to the Lincolnshire coast to play Cleethorpes Town on Saturday 2nd July. Cleethorpes play in the Northern Premier League East Division and narrowly missed out on promotion in the season just ended.
Among the other games that have been arranged is a home friendly against former Northern League rivals Shildon on Tuesday 5th July and a trip to West Yorkshire to take on Liversedge, newly promoted to the Northern Premier League Premier Division.
