Whitley Bay Football Club is delighted to be holding a Platinum Jubilee Party this afternoon for 40 local people aged between 70 and 90. The 'golden oldies' regularly attend the Club's community hall at the Foxhunter's Training Ground and Juniors base, and they are being treated to a special afternoon to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Club Chairman Paul Mcilduff said that he would like to give special thanks to Yvonne, Jackie, Catherine, Tracy and Colin for the fantastic work and effort they have put in to make this event happen.
