 * Bay beaten 2-0 by Seaham  * * Reserves win 6-1 at Gateshead A*

Whitley can count themselves unlucky to have been beaten 2-0 by Seaham Red Star on a bitterly cold afternoon at Hillheads. Caretaker manager Gavin Hattrick was without Callum Anderson and Liam Brooks for family reasons but Scott Jasper was back in the side. Seaham went ahead after just three minutes with the only goal of the first half. With the wind at their backs, Whitley had most of the game after the interval but Seaham defended strongly and sealed the win with a second goal deep into stoppage time. Full report and photos to follow.

The Reserves won 6-1 at Gateshead FC ‘A’ with Michael Bell scoring four times and the other goals coming from Trueman Hubb and Sam Callighan.
