*FA Vase result: Westella & Willerby 1 Whitley Bay 5*  

WESTELLA & WILLERBY 1 WHITLEY BAY 5

Whitley came from behind to record a comprehensive FA Vase victory over Westella & Willerby on a windy afternoon in Hull.

The Humber Premier League side took a 3rd minute lead but Whitley responded with four goals in a 15 minute spell, Scott Jasper 14′, Josh Nearney 22′, Alex Kempster 23′ and Peter Glen-Ravenhill 29′ putting the outcome beyond doubt. A penalty nine minutes from time from Tom Potter sealed a 5-1 win to put Whitley in the hat for the 2nd Round draw which takes place on Monday lunchtime.

Whitley Bay Supporters Club will be taking card payments in the Club Shop from the coming season.  There is no minimum payment and you will not be charged for using your Credit or Debit Card.

AWAY TRAVEL 2017/18

The Supporters Club 36 seater coach for our FA Vase trip to Westella and Willerby on Saturday 21st October is now full. The coach is leaving Hillheads Park at 10am and returning straight after the final whistle

Anyone still wishing to travel, spare seats are available on the Team Coach and can be booked for the same costs with Club Director Jennifer Breakwell. Please contact Jennifer as soon as possible to secure your seat.
