Bay manager Nick Gray has been busy in the transfer market in recent days, bringing in two new players while another has departed for pastures new.
Joining from Seaham Red Star is Finlay Neary, 18 year old brother of Bay regular Harvey, while James McGeorge arrives at Hillheads on a loan deal from South Shields.
Meanwhile, Noah Millington, who was signed earlier in the year but has been unable to command a regular place in the starting eleven has moved up the Coast Road to Newcastle Benfield.
Nick told us " Finlay is a young, energetic midfield player who is at South Shields Academy. He is still learning the game but being Harvey's younger brother we know he has a great attitude which will bode him well progressing as a player.
"James is a first year professional at South Shields who you can see is in full time training and has some great touches and awareness in the final third, which is a area we need to improve. I am confident James will help us in this area.
"I would like to personally thank Lee Picton at South Shields and Mark Collingwood at Seaham for both helping with getting these two signings done quickly.
"I would also like to wish Noah Millington good luck in his move to Benfield. Noah has loads of ability. It was just unfortunate we weren't able to give him as much game time he needed to fulfil his potential."
We would like to welcome Finlay and James to Hillheads and we hope they enjoy their time with us. We would also like to thank Noah for his services to Whitley Bay and we wish him every success in his future career.
