As a gesture of the high esteem in which Club Secretary Derek Breakwell was held by the Directors, Players, Staff, Supporters Club and everyone at Whitley Bay Football Club, we will be donating all proceeds from the sale of the programmes at next Thursday's home game v Seaham Red Star to Cancer Research in Derek's memory.
This is a special tribute to Derek in acknowledgement of his devotion not only to Whitley Bay FC but also to the Northern League, where he served for many years on the Management Committee. His high regard in non league football is evidenced by the many touching comments across social media which echo our own feelings and which mean so much to Jennifer and the whole family. Many of these tributes will feature in the programme.
If you are unable to attend the game and wish to buy a programme please contact Peter Siddle by email at peter.siddle@virgin.net and a copy will be saved for you or can be posted on request. Including postage, the cost will be £2.95 first class or £2.68 second class.
There is also the option to buy an online programme via the link on the website price £2 and again, all proceeds will go to Cancer Research.
