We are pleased to announce the signing of experienced striker Mark Davison from Sunderland RCA. A prolific goalscorer, he previously played for Morpeth Town and earlier in his career was a member of the Spennymoor Town FA Vase winning side.
Manager Nick Gray commented "Me and Liam are delighted to get 'Sparky' signed. I know he had a lot of offers from other clubs after the unfortunate circumstances with RCA's situation and we're really pleased he's chosen us. I've known him for a lot of years and had him at a successful time at Morpeth.
"The group of lads we have, have been terrific this season but we have a paper thin squad and I always said that if a player comes available who I think will enhance the squad but will also help the younger lads in the group develop, we will try and bring them in and I've no doubt Sparky will bring all that to the squad and more."
