Whitley face the prospect of four away games in the early rounds of the FA Cup and FA Vase.
In the FA Cup it will be a trip to East Yorkshire on Saturday 3rd August to play Beverley Town, newly promoted to the Premier Division of the Northern Counties East League. If we can win that tie we will travel to former Northern League rivals Newton Aycliffe, now members of the Northern Premier League East Division in the Preliminary Round on 17th August.
The FA Vase 1st Qualifying Round draw has given Whitley a lengthy trip to Lancashire to play North West Counties League side Longridge Town on Saturday 24th August. Victory in the game would see Whitley on the road again four weeks later with a journey to Harrogate Railway, from the Northern Counties East league Division One.
