Whitley travel to Beverley Town tomorrow (Sunday) for their Emirates FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round tie.
The team coach will be leaving Hillheads at 10am and along with the players and officials, there will be a good turn out of fans in East Yorkshire to cheer on Jay Bates' team against a side that is making its first FA Cup appearance since 1919!
Given the importance of the occasion for the home side, there has been great interest shown in the tie and more than 250 tickets had already been sold by midweek. Admission on the day is by paying at the entrance.
The financial benefits of a FA Cup run are extremely significant and the winners of this game will receive over £1000.
The draw for the Preliminary Round has already been made and the side that comes out on top will travel to Newton Aycliffe in two weeks time.
Should the game end in a draw, there will be a replay at Hillheads on Tuesday evening, ko 7.45pm.
