All of us at Whitley Bay Football Club have been shocked and saddened to learn that Simon Booth, our PA announcer, passed away suddenly this week. A long time Whitley Bay supporter and familiar figure at Hillheads, Simon took on the role of announcer two years ago and his contribution as a volunteer on matchdays has been greatly valued. He will be sadly missed and we would like to offer our condolences to all of his family and friends.
