We are delighted to announce that following a meeting with the club directors this week, Jay Bates and his management team of Barry Rizza and Gary Somerville have agreed to remain in place at Whitley Bay Football Club.
Just before the end of the season, Jay announced that he would be standing down but has since had a change of heart. "I am now fully focussed on moving forward and after reflecting on the success of the season including our Northumberland Senior Cup triumph, I am confident we can continue progressing in a positive direction together."
Everyone at Hillheads now looks forward to another exciting season in 2026/27, which the League has announced will begin on Saturday 25th July.
