Whitley have been drawn at home to Heaton Stannington in the Extra Preliminary Round of the Emirates FA Cup. This local derby is bound to attract a good crowd and will be played on Saturday 2nd August. The winners will receive prize money of £1125 and a home tie in the Preliminary Round against Marske United or Carlisle City.
The draw for the first two rounds of the Isuzu FA Vase has also been announced and Whitley will travel to Northern League Second Division side Darlington Town in the 1st Qualifying Round on Saturday 23rd August. The winners will receive £550 and a home tie in the 2nd Qualifying Round against Marske United or Northern Counties East League side Knaresborough.
