Whitley crashed out of the FA Vase at the first hurdle, beaten 2-0 at Hillheads by Stockton Town. The Second Division high flyers, unbeaten in all competitions this season, were the better team throughout and second half goals in the 48th and 68th minutes of the game gave them a well deserved victory over a very disappointing and lacklustre Bay side.
Full report now online below.
* Following our FA Vase exit, we have two fixture changes. Our game at home to Jarrow Roofing has been moved from Saturday 22nd October to Tuesday 22nd November. We will now be away to North Shields on 22nd October, this fixture having been brought forward from 11th February.
